Ám-kow Xluwuf (/ə˞m/ /kow/ [exotic] [heat]) is a subtropical Large City located in the Temryont Principality of the Soheque.

The name Ám-kow Xluwuf is derived from the Sylvin language, as Ám-kow Xluwuf was founded by Sedril, who was culturaly Gnoll.

Climate

Ám-kow Xluwuf has a yearly average temperature of -1°C (31°F), with its average temperature during the summer being an icy 15°C (59°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool -17°C (2°F). Overview

Ám-kow Xluwuf was founded durring the early 15th century in fall of the year 1442, by Sedril. The establishment of Ám-kow Xluwuf was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Sedril electing to pay people to resettle in Ám-kow Xluwuf.

Ám-kow Xluwuf was built using the conventions of Gnoll durring the early 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ám-kow Xluwuf is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Ám-kow Xluwuf is buildings are arranged arround a network of spacious baked earthen streets which form a diagonal shaped grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The city has a defencive wall made from querried stone. The wall is equipped with a full set of battlments but the nature of its construction methodology leaves it somewhat vulnerable to siege equipment. That said, the city is well defended against anything short of an army. The city's cost-cutting-focused defences are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Cultural Notes

Ám-kow Xluwuf's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its buildings being predominantly formed through the combination of basic geometric shapes. However, it shown in the detailing given to the structures such as its characteristic tall columns, intricate detail, symmetry, harmony, and balance in their designs to an astonishing degree of precision. Decorative elements for the buildings tended to be built into the structure itself, making great use of fluting, frescoes, inlays, and embossing.
